Valley Chill Call now

Frequently asked questions

Everything we get asked, answered honestly.

Service & response

How fast can someone come out?

Most calls before 2 PM get same-day service. Evening calls usually get a next-morning slot, with emergency same-night options for total cooling failures. Weekend response varies by partner availability — we’ll tell you the truth about timing when you call.

Do you handle emergencies?

Yes. After-hours and emergency requests get routed to the partner contractor’s emergency line. If you’re in 110° heat with a total AC failure and someone in the home has health risks, tell us — we’ll prioritize.

What hours are you available?

The phone is answered 24/7. Service dispatch happens 7 days a week, with most calls before 2 PM converting to same-day service.

Do you serve commercial buildings?

Not currently. Valley Chill is residential AC repair only. Commercial HVAC is a different operating rhythm and we don’t want to half-do it.

What if my AC needs replacement, not repair?

We focus on repair and diagnostics. If your unit needs a full replacement, we’ll refer you to a contractor partner who handles installations — same vetted pool, no spam.

Pricing & costs

What does it cost?

The contractor we send gives you an upfront quote before any work begins. Diagnostic fees are typical — usually $79–$129 depending on the partner. No surprise bills. You see the price before you commit.

Is there a fee to use Valley Chill?

No fee from us to the homeowner. We get paid by our contractor partners when we connect them with a real job — that’s how the business runs. You pay the contractor for the actual work, at the price they quote you upfront.

Do you offer financing?

We don’t, but some partner contractors do. If financing matters to you, ask the contractor when they arrive — most can offer payment plans or refer you to a financing partner.

Are estimates free?

Phone consultations are always free. On-site diagnostics typically have a fee (the $79–$129 above) which is standard in Phoenix HVAC. The contractor will tell you upfront before they come out.

Process & vetting

Are you a contractor or a service that connects me with one?

We’re a Phoenix-based service that connects you with one trusted local HVAC contractor. Unlike the big home-services sites, we don’t sell your contact info to multiple companies. One call, one tech.

Are your contractors licensed and insured?

Every partner contractor we send is licensed in Arizona and carries liability and workers’ compensation insurance. We verify this before sending them any leads — not after.

How do you choose which contractor to send?

Three factors: location (who’s closest to you), specialization (who’s strongest at the kind of fix you need), and availability (who has capacity right now). We don’t auction your job — we pick the best match.

Can I pick the contractor myself?

Right now, no. The model is built around us doing the matching. If you’ve had a great experience with a specific Phoenix HVAC company before, tell us — we may already partner with them or can route appropriately.

What happens if the work goes wrong?

Every partner is licensed and insured, so you have the same recourse you’d have with any direct hire. We also follow up after every job to make sure the work was done right. If a contractor underperforms, we stop sending them work.

Coverage & service areas

What cities do you serve?

Phoenix, Mesa, Scottsdale, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Avondale, Goodyear, Buckeye, Ahwatukee, Paradise Valley, Queen Creek, Litchfield Park, and the surrounding cities. If you’re in the Valley, we probably cover you. Outside the Valley, we don’t.

What brands do you service?

All major HVAC brands — Trane, Lennox, Carrier, Goodman, Rheem, American Standard, Bryant, and more. Our partner techs are certified across the brands common in Phoenix homes.

What if I’m just outside your service area?

Call us anyway. If we can route you to one of our Arizona partner contractors who covers your area, we will. If not, we’ll be honest that we’re not the right fit.

Privacy & spam

Will my phone explode if I call you?

No. That’s the whole point of Valley Chill. Your number goes to exactly one vetted local contractor. We don’t sell or share your info with other companies.

Do you send marketing texts or emails?

No marketing texts. No promotional emails. The only outbound communication you’ll get from Valley Chill is a follow-up to make sure the job got done right — and only if you opt into that.
